An opportunity has arisen for a producer to work at the creative centre of the business, developing content across a range of platforms and formats. Candidates will have a keen understanding of a rapidly evolving media landscape and have the ability to devise innovative content strategies and campaigns.

The scope of work will span existing clients – adapting and invigorating output – as well as developing projects for prospective new clients. The ideal candidate will be full of ideas, have an appetite for learning, and experience that indicates creative dexterity. You will work as part of a team central to the heart of Engage, helping to bring in new clients, as well as ensuring we’re delivering the best to our current clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate creative concepts for a range of sporting clients across a range of outputs including still and motion graphics, GIFs, and short and long-form video
  • Undertake content audits to make suggestions for best practice and future strategy
  • Writing copy for sales decks including pitching to potential and existing clients
  • Presenting pitches to clients (preferable but not essential)
  • Contribute to creative development meetings, working closely with the Design Studio Manager, Creative Director and the rest of the creative development team to discuss trends and generate ideas
Key skills and knowledge:
  • Extensive experience working across a range of digital platforms, with a background in social content production and social media management
  • A creative opportunist up for trying new ideas and an ability to capture fun, engaging content
  • Proven copywriting experience with high attention to detail
  • A track record in developing ideas that have been commissioned/executed
  • Experience in concept creation
  • Experience working to client briefs and working with external parties to make recommendations and encourage developments
  • Keen, ongoing awareness and interest in trends across social media, online video, and sports output internationally
  • Interest in new technologies and opportunities for content creation. 
  • Experience of social media channel management, strategy and optimisation best practices
  • Understanding of paid promotion strategy 
  • Strong communication skills both within the internal team and with clients and contributors
  • Knowledge of media law
  • Strong editorial sensibility – able to identify strong content that will perform well on digital/social platforms

  • Work flexible days, according to the appropriate sports-related calendar
  • Able to perform under pressure and to work to tight timescales
  • Be a good communicator with strong relationship management skills
  • Salary dependent on experience
